KodingCamp is an online coding camp built as a work simulator: you work a mission from a PRD in a private GitHub repository, open a Pull Request, and an AI Tech Lead reviews your code.
KodingCamp is not a bootcamp with live classes and not a video course. It works best if you already know programming basics and want to practice a real engineering workflow.
“Coding camp” usually describes an intensive, practice-first programming program. KodingCamp takes that idea one step further: instead of classes and assignments, you step into a simulation of a software engineer's job.
You receive a Product Requirements Document (PRD), build the feature in a private GitHub repository under your name, and open a Pull Request. Every Pull Request is automatically reviewed by an AI Tech Lead that checks what senior engineers check: query efficiency, type safety, and architectural decisions.
KodingCamp missions are complete features with a specification, not bite-sized exercises with predictable answers. You work in a codebase that has structure, dependencies, and constraints — just like on the job.
You come away with more than understanding. You get artifacts: a repository with your own code, a commit history, and Pull Requests that went through review — all things you can show when applying for jobs.
On an engineering team, writing code is only part of the job. Engineers also need to work through Git, open Pull Requests that are easy to review, and discuss changes in review comments. KodingCamp makes this workflow the core of the simulation, not an extra module.
Feedback is the hardest thing to get when you learn on your own. At KodingCamp, every Pull Request is reviewed by the AI Tech Lead whenever you submit — no waiting for a mentor's schedule. If the code doesn't meet the bar, your PR is rejected with an explanation, exactly like code review at work.
Here, AI acts as a reviewer, not as someone writing the code for you. You still have to understand and fix it yourself.
If you are starting from absolute zero (not yet comfortable with variables, functions, and basic logic), start with the fundamentals first. The Learn to Code page lays out a learning path.
